I am Arne Castles and I am a senior student of music and drama at Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts (WHSPA). From a young age, I have loved performing. Some of these performances include shows with the Arcadians Theatre group such as 2019 Peter Pan Jr, 2019 High School Musical 2 Jr, 2020 Joseph & his technicolour dreamcoat Jnr, 2021 Into the Woods Jr, 2022 Xanadu Jr, 2022 Legally Blonde Jr, 2022 Les Miserables, 2023 Footloose and I was asked to be a performer at the 2022 Salute to 25 years at the Miner’s Lamp Theatre.
This year I have also assisted with Arcadians putting on Frozen Jr. Some of my favourite roles were Chuck Cranston in Footloose, Sonny In Xanadu and Feuilly in Les Mis. I have been a Featured Artist in Southern Stars Schools Spectacular since 2020 and will perform again this year.
As an active member of WHSPA, I have also been a part of many music and drama showcases and school productions through the years.
