General Drama Ages 5-9 (3:30 - 4:20)

General drama classes for children aged 5-9 introduce young participants to the world of acting and performance in an engaging, supportive, and age-appropriate manner. At this developmental stage, the focus is on nurturing creativity, imagination, self-expression, and basic theatrical skills through playful and educational activities. These classes will teach students about Improvisation, storytelling, voice, character, movement, working as a team and performing.

What to Bring: Water bottle and clothes that are easy to move in.  Students may decide if they would like to wear shoes or be barefoot

Improviation 10+ (4:30-5:20)

Improvisation classes for ages 10+ can be an exciting and dynamic way to introduce children to the world of acting and creative expression. These classes will focus on creativity and storytelling focusing on on-the-spot thinking. While also introducing the basics of acting (Voice, Character and Movement).

Performance 10+ (5:30-6:20)

Performance drama class for 10+ is designed to extend children within the world of performance through theatre. These classes centre on developing a range of performance skills, fostering creativity, and building confidence. This class will include Voice, Movement, Character, Improvisation, storytelling and scripted works. This class has a specific focus on performing for an audience at the end of Term 2 and the end of term 4. 
Intake for this class is weeks 1-3 of Term 1 then Term 3.  Students in this class must commit to the planned performances

What to Bring:  Water bottle, notebook (They may leave this at the space) and clothes that are easy to move in. We will provide pencils, etc but they may bring their own if they wish. Students may decide if they would like to wear shoes or be barefoot.

High School Drama Year 7+ (5:30-6:20)

Drama classes for high school students cultivate creativity, improve communication skills, and build confidence. These classes will explore Voice, Movement, Character, Scripts, theatre terminology  and Improvisation. There will be units on different forms of theatre including mask work, physical theatre, Verbatim theatre, and more. Students will have the opportunity to create their own characters and pieces while also learning how to adapt a character in relation to a script
