Joshua Hinton is an aspiring Wollongong-based actor, singer/songwriter and theatre maker. For Merrigong Theatre Company he is the coordinator and head tutor of Merrigong’s Creativity Camp, their regular arts holiday program. He has run multiple drama programs for New Star Art school in Melbourne from 2019 – 2021.
In 2021 he received Wollongong City Council funding to record a number of his original songs with his duo Dom and Josh for the Jam ‘n Bread NewGen Global Project.
In 2024 through the help of Merrigong theatre company’s program, MerrigongX, he put on his own show “A place in the Sultans Kitchen, or How to Make the Perfect One-pot Chicken Curry.”
