Working as a drama teacher for 25+ years, Jasmin recognises the performing arts as a powerful learning experience for all children. She is extremely passionate about how it enhances their development as human beings.
Drama lessons create active listeners, stimulates imagination and nurtures emotional intelligence. This is what Jasmin loves and aims for in her drama classes. She incorporates vocal and physical exercises, improvisation and play building, so that her students become more self-aware and learn better communication skills. They are always encouraged to work within a team and to take fun risks.
Jasmin studied intensively under the late and great Hayes Gordon AO OBE at The Ensemble Theatre. She completed her Post Grad Degree at NIDA, under the brilliant Keith Bain OAM.
She continues to work extensively in theatre, film, television and advertising as a writer, director, producer, performer, choreographer, casting consultant – and always as a teacher.
