Lana is delighted to join the team at Thirroul Academy and is especially grateful to be able to share her love of music with others.
She holds a Bachelor of Music (Honours Class I) in classical voice, a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology/German), and a Master of Philosophy (voice) from The University of Queensland.
During her studies, she performed the Faure Requiem soprano solo in the QPAC Concert Hall, was awarded the Musicology Prize, and completed a semester abroad studying opera in Frankfurt, Germany.
Lana has had the joy of teaching voice and musicianship in group classes and privately for several years and is passionate about highlighting the cognitive benefits of music training for all ages.
She has recently returned from New York City, where she spent over two years working with world-renowned soprano, Renée Fleming, on an initiative focusing on music, health, and neuroscience.
Lana loves that making music is not only great fun, but can boost our health and brainpower, too!
