Jennifer has been playing the violin for more than 20 years.
Trained as a primary school teacher at the University of Wollongong, Jennifer spent time during lockdown working in 2 towns in country NSW for a change of scenery. She returned to the Illawarra and has been working in local primary schools, and teaching violin privately, and maintains an interest in music.

Jennifer loves a wide variety of music including from different cultures and genres and has played with a local Balkan folk group – Zlatkos Balkan Cabaret – at festivals around NSW. She aims to motivate students to not only build their skills individually but to experience the joy and creativity that comes with playing music with others and develop skills as ensemble players.
